I have always been a very artistic person and have learned many crafts over the years including woodworking, crochet, painting, macrame, counted cross stitch, jewelry making, silverware art and now photography. I just started photography in the summer of 2013 and have totally fallen in love with it. I am self taught which makes it quite a challenge but I enjoy every minute of it. Wow, this photo gives a whole new meaning to being alone! What a feeling of isolation you have captured here, Linda! Your eye is immediately drawn to that lone figure walking away from the lighthouse. The starkness of a winter day, with the gray skies, ice, and snow there for all to see.
